• Yes. You must apply unconditionally. If a foreigner who has entered Korea wants to stay for more than 90 days from the date of entry, he/she must visit the competent immigration office within 90 days from the date of entry and register as an alien. Regardless of the type of visa, all foreign students who wish to study at the university must register as foreigners, and international students who do not register as foreigners within 90 days from the date of entry may be fined in accordance with the laws and guidelines of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea.
